Welcome Graduate Students!
When you decide to embark on a research outing at CMU’s Biological Station, you can plan on the one-on-one faculty interaction and support all CMU students have come to expect – wherever they are studying. And you also can be certain that you will revel in discovery of such an exceptional natural environment to conduct research, advance your thesis, or simply enroll in classes to continue your education or fulfill a certification requirement.
Whether conducting a faculty-guided internship or seminar or completing a required biological statistics course for your master’s degree, CMU’s James C. Gillingham Academic Center and adjacent facilities will provide you with fully equipped, state-of-the art research laboratories in which to study your island discoveries.
Contact an island graduate program advisor to begin your Beaver island discoveries as soon as this summer!
